Welcome to the online garage of Classic Wheels Berlin. We are the foremost address in Berlin specialising in the repair and restoration of British classic cars. We have many years experience working on all the great marques, with particular emphasis on Jaguar and MG. We maintain and rebuild a steadily increasing number of historic vehicles entrusted to us by owners from ever further afield.
The first decade of the new century saw us move to larger premises, and develop the site incorporating new garaging facilities. The start of the second decade sees us busier than ever before. In addition to regular maintenance and repair work we have a fair number of more challenging projects underway in the workshop. A selection of project vehicles will be documented here with photo galleries over the coming months. Recent projects include a dark green Jaguar XK140 OTS, a Jaguar XK140 DHC, and a Jaguar MkIX Sedan. Our '60s Ford Transit restoration (see photo above) is also nearing completion, having just been repainted in two-tone Classic Wheels livery. Further bare-metal-respray Jaguar XK rebuilds are now underway, commencing with a 'carriage' brown drophead, the body of which has just been reunited with the restored and reassembled chassis. A black factory original MG B V8 is also currently undergoing an extensive rebuild (see photo below).
What we do
In our workshop we specialise in the day-to-day maintenance and repair or even thorough restoration of classic vehicles. In addition, we carry out bespoke design and coachwork for clients who wish to enhance their vehicles. We have a passion for historic motorsport. We also offer a complete fully-supported historic motor racing experience behind the wheel of one of our trio of race-ready MG Bs. Our skillset includes virtually every aspect of the motor trade, though when needed we call upon the services of a carefully vetted talent pool of experienced master trades- and craftsmen.
Vehicles For Sale
We always have a fast moving selection of delightful classic vehicles for sale. We would be delighted to handle the sale of your classic car on your behalf. We are experienced in trading vehicles across international borders, and can ably assist with the necessary paperwork.
We also provide a scouting service to locate the special or rare classic you seek. Furthermore we offer a secure storage service for prestige vehicles, subject to limited availability. Please enquire in person for further information. Our secure storage capacity is increasing.
Historic Motorsport
When we're not wrenching under classic cars we can be found racing them. The Classic Wheels Berlin Racing Team compete in the Yokohama FHR Paragon Cup. In addition to supported driver places in our own trio of MG B racecars, we offer a comprehensive motorsport service to prepare your car for competition in accordance with FIA and DEUVET regulations. We can tune your vehicle for motorsport, including modifiying the drivetrain, suspension and bodywork.
Bespoke Design
We can modify your vehicle to suit your every whim, whether your tastes are subtle, or tend toward the extravagant. From initial consultation to the finished vehicle, all work is carried out in house by our highly experienced mechanics and bodywork professionals. Stay tuned for the development of our own unique custom fabricated racecar transporter, a large-scale rolling advertisement for our skill that should soon be hauling our racecars to and from the racetrack.
